Recommended Technical Equipment

Rods and Lines

Rods from #5 to #7 are ideal. Medium-fast action rods and lines with suitable profiles for windy conditions work well in both floating and sinking configurations.

Technical Clothing

Comfortable breathable waders, boots with good traction and waterproof jackets are recommended. Patagonian weather changes quickly, so dressing in layers is essential.

Terminal Tackle and Flies

Bring leaders and tippets in different strengths, plus dry flies, nymphs and streamers to adapt to water conditions and trout activity.

💡 Important Information: Every angler must carry a valid Recreational Fishing License (Sernapesca) before boarding a boat or beginning to wade.
