Booking and Excursion Conditions

11.1 Booking and deposit

Submitting the form only constitutes a booking request.

The excursion will be confirmed once availability has been coordinated, the date agreed and the requested deposit received.

The booking deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels. Its purpose is to secure and hold the agreed date.

If the client is unable to attend, they may request to reschedule the excursion under the conditions set out below.

11.2 Date changes

Date changes must be requested at least 5 days in advance.

In these cases, the deposit will remain valid and may be applied to a new date, subject to availability.

Requests made less than 5 days in advance will be assessed according to the circumstances and availability.

Failure to attend without prior notice does not guarantee that the excursion can be rescheduled.

11.3 Weather and safety conditions

Excursions take place in natural environments and are subject to factors such as weather, wind, rain, river flow, navigation conditions, road conditions and other situations that may affect safety.

Patagonia Fly Expeditions may change the schedule, location, route or fishing format whenever conditions require it.

If an excursion must be suspended because of safety concerns, weather or other external conditions that prevent it from being carried out properly, the deposit will remain valid and the activity will be rescheduled for another available date.

11.4 Schedules, locations and fishing results

Schedules and locations may vary depending on the season, weather, water conditions, transfers and the fishing strategy recommended by the guide.

Because fishing takes place in natural environments, catches, quantities, fish size and species cannot be guaranteed.

Patagonia Fly Expeditions will seek to provide the best possible experience through planning, local knowledge, safety and support throughout the outing.

11.5 Included and additional services

Each excursion will state in advance which services and equipment are included.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, accommodation, flights, personal expenses, gratuities, personal insurance and other additional services are not included.

Transfers to or from Balmaceda Airport, accommodation or other locations may be arranged subject to availability. Any additional cost will be communicated in advance.

11.6 Health and safety

Before the excursion, each participant must disclose any health condition, allergy, medication, physical limitation or other information relevant to carrying out the activity safely.

Guests must follow the guide’s instructions concerning navigation, wading, personal flotation devices, river conditions, weather, equipment and care for the environment.

Patagonia Fly Expeditions may change or suspend an activity whenever conditions could affect participant safety.

11.7 Insurance

Personal travel, health, luggage and cancellation insurance are not included in the service unless expressly stated otherwise.

Each guest is encouraged to obtain suitable coverage for their trip and planned activities.

11.8 Personal belongings

Each participant is responsible for their personal belongings, including phones, cameras, drones, documents, wallets and electronic equipment.

Suitable protection is recommended for items that could be damaged by water, impacts or conditions inherent to an outdoor activity.
